Second International Congress of Physiotherapy, Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg

The organising committee is looking forward to hosting a variety of international speakers who will address many issues pertinent to the field of Physiotherapy. It thus gives us great pleasure to invite you to join us at what we hope will be an interesting and stimulating congress.

ACCOMMODATION: Block accommodation has been arranged at the Sandton Sun and The Holiday Inn – Maude street which are both adjacent to the congress venue. Additional accommodation can also be booked at various guest houses in the area. Booking forms, contact numbers and further details will be included in our next correspondence.

THE ACADEMIC PROGRAMME:
The theme of the congress is “The Gaitway to Recovery”.
Workshops and lectures from both local and international experts will be presented with particular focus on the following fields of physiotherapy; sports, cardiopulmonary, paediatrics, womens’ health, education, neurology, occupational health and musculoskeletal.

FREE PAPERS: The committee invites the submission of abstracts to be considered for oral or poster presentation. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 30 December 2004.
