No, it is not.
WEBMED (WEb-Based-Medical-Electronic-Dossier) is a benchmarking tool that accompanies Dutch Physiotherapy Guidelines. It will enable the user to enter his/her patient that is being treated according to specific guidelines and receive immediate feedback on performance of patient and therapists. Data can be compared with data from other patients, subgroups and other diagnoses. Communication between the multidisciplinary teams (e.g., GP`s, surgeons and physiotherapists) takes places through WEBMED, a specialised database, that not only stores patient iformation but also gives feedback on treatment results and has in-built triage systems for high risk patients.
Participants will have to attend training courses (depending on the specific guideline they are interested in), but will have permanent access afterward to the system, and always be provided with the latest updates.
The system has been developed for Dutch physiotherapists, but it is likely that international physiotherapists can join at a later stage.
